The Works of Elizabeth M Davis
The Great Landlocked Sea
The Great Landlocked Sea is an exploration of seas that most don’t think about: The Great Lakes of the United States, the ancient seas that left behind fossils, and the seas in our minds. Which is an overly florid way to say that this chapbook has a form poem inspired by weather radar, a story set as a sequel of sorts to the Fall of the House of Usher, and somebody will be eaten by a prehistoric fish.
